GETTING STARTED WITH DOMAIN PURCHASES NEW DOMAIN PURCHASES Your account is an Enom reseller account set at the price of $8.85 . Both new domain purchases and its are deducted from your account balance in your enom account. You first need to refill your account (add funds to your account) by clicking "my enom" on the left navigational bar - then click "refill accounts". RESELLER PAYMENT OPTIONS / REFILL ACCOUNT Paypal is now accepted for refilling our Reseller Accounts. You can use Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover or your PayPal account to refill your account. (Debit cards with Visa or Mastercard affiliation should also be acceptable) Using a credit card or PayPal you can refill your account any amount over $100.00 up to $3000.00. To help keep our wholesale prices as low as possible, there is a 3% credit card fee when a credit card is used to add funds to your account. If you do not wish to refill your account with the minimum of $100 by credit card, you can refill with any amount using check, money order or bank wire transfer. Enom accepts a check by mail or bank transfer to add funds to your account and there is no additional fee. Enom will credit your check or wire to your account during regular business hours as soon as it arrives. There will not be a delay in waiting for funds to clear the banking system to credit your account. Please note that you need to refill your account only for domains you want to purchase or if you have integrated our API and are using your own merchant account for domain reselling. To register one domain at a time, click "register name" - you can check name availability by using either the "Name Checker" search or the "Enominator" search to get additional ideas using key words. Follow the instructions and select a domain or domains that you would like to add to your shopping cart. These are not purchased yet - you must go to the cart (click on "cart" right upper hand corner) and click "checkout" and then purchase. You will receive an email confirmation regarding the domain names you registered. registry DOMAIN REGISTRATION Another option is to register several domain at once in registry. After clicking on "domain names" on the left navigational bar - click "register list". Follow the instructions and type or copy and paste a list of multiple domain names. DOMAIN TRANSFERS All first-year domain transfers from an outside registrar to your Enom reseller account are only $8.95 per domain. To initiate a domain transfer, click on "domain names" on the left navigational bar. Then, click on "transfer". Next, click on "auto verification" Follow the instructions to begin your transfer. The transfer process usually takes 2-7 days to complete. You will receive confirmation emails from Enom and possibly your existing registrar usually within 1-2 days after a transfer order is initiated. FREE WEB SITE POINTING / URL FRAME / URL REDIRECT / IP ADDRESS POINTING You have three options for free web site pointing: 1) URL Redirection - Your domain is pointed to a specific web site on the Internet and the destination web site address appears in the browser. For complete instructions on set-up please refer to URL Redirection. 2) URL Frame - Your domain is pointed to a specific web site on the Internet and your domain name appears in the browser. This increases perception of your domain name and helps brand your site. For complete instructions on set-up please refer to URL Frame. 3) IP Address Pointing - Your domain is pointed to a specific IP Address that you have or have been given by a hosting company. For complete instructions on set-up please refer to IP Address Pointing. FREE SUB DOMAIN SETUP You can create up to 100 sub domains for free using our nameservers such as home.yourdomain.com or ftp.yourdomain.com. For each sub domain you can configure a separate web pointing protocol choosing between URL Frame, URL Redirect or IP Address Pointing. Many web hosting companies charges extra for each sub domain but you can create up 100 for free through your control panel. . FREE EMAIL FORWARDING Every domain registered with bulkdomains.com includes free Email Forwarding with up to 100 free email forwardings per domain. Learn how to setup a "catch-all" with an * to have any email sent to another address You can also configure the same email to be forwarded to multiple addresses by creating separate lines of forwarding. Email forwarding is the first step or the "front end" component of email branding and perception. The next step or the "back end" solution can be created for free by configuring "reply" email addresses. This enables you to send out multiple email addresses using your new domain name extension info@yourdomain.com from an email account manager such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora or other web-based email solutions such as Hotmail.com or Yahoo.com. You also have the option of modify the MX files for advanced email management. You can also upgrade to a POP3 email account through your reseller account for $9.95 / year. NAMESERVERS Your domain must use enom's nameservers to take advantage of the free web site url redirection and email forwarding. If your present nameserver does not offer these services you can easily change back to our nameservers. Click on "domains" on the left bar. Type in your domain name and click "go" to enter the domain control panel. To change nameservers click "change" under the DNS Server section. Choose enom's nameservers if not already selected. Next under the "DNS Settings (zone file)" section click "Configure". The next screen will include an area where you can update web site redirection. Please note that when you change nameservers it can take 12-36 hours for the change to become live or propagated across the Internet. The changes that you make described above in the "Hosts" section can be pre-configured, so they will take place as soon as the nameserver information has been updated in the whois database. Future changes or updates to website redirection and/or email forwarding with no changes in the nameservers may take only 1-4 hours to update (sometimes these changes are updates within 5-10 minutes) - because the information remains on the enom nameservers. You can also update the nameservers to a hosting company. Please remember to input the nameserver names only, not IP addresses when changing to outside nameservers. Please note that when a domain registrar transfer takes place there is no change in the nameservers. If you successfully transfer a domain into your new account you will need to change to our nameservers to be able to use the free features. Search Engine Meta Tags You can configure URL Frame settings to include title and keyword Meta Tags as well as and site description which is used by search engines.
